The name "Siddhidatri" is derived from two words: "Siddhi," which means supernatural powers or accomplishments, and "Datri," which means the giver or bestower. Maa Siddhidatri is believed to be the provider of various Siddhis (supernatural powers) and is often depicted with four, six, eight, or ten arms, holding various symbolic objects and weapons.
Devotees seek the blessings of Maa Siddhidatri to attain spiritual and material fulfillment, as well as to gain mastery over various skills and abilities. She is associated with the concept of ultimate perfection and the realization of one's true self.
During Navratri, devotees worship Maa Siddhidatri with great devotion, offer her prayers and bhajans (devotional songs), and perform aarti (rituals of light) to seek her blessings and grace.
